Welcome to Bentley lodge, our modern and charming one bedroomed wooden lodge, our newest self-catering Hideaway to Burtree Country House, suitable for Families and small groups, sleeping 2 adults in the Bedroom and 2 children/small adults on the plush sofa bed in the lounge. Open plan living/dining with an Art Deco ceiling, ornate bathroom and a cosy double bedroom with it’s own private balcony, where you can even get a sun tan whilst you sleep, through the large open sliding glass doors.
An all weather hideaway, allowing you to spend quality time amongst nature, step into the open plan, family friendly, homely interior, with a cosy lounge/TV area and kitchen with everything you need, from condiments, cutlery, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster, induction hob, air fryer to a rustic Breakfast Bar with stools. along the corridor find the ornate Bathroom with it’s large shower and the main double Bedroom with overbed storage and it’s unique abstract tree decorated roof and sliding glass doors, to access the private balcony, where adults can embrace the peace and tranquility, with the panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. It’s rustic wooden floors ensure it’s suitable for your furry friend to accompany you on your break too.
When you step outside the wide opening glass doors from the open plan Lounge/Diner onto the extensive private wooden decked area, you’re greeted with panoramic views of the beautiful Herriot Countryside and the Iconic White Horse of Kilburn, Here you can enjoy the bubbling oasis of our Hydro Spa Hot Tub, with it’s side raising features and powerful jets to soothe away your aches and pains. There’s also loungers, swinging chair, dinning table and chairs, chiminea, and a BBQ, why not indulge in one of our delicious BBQ packs from our own farm and enjoy alfresco dinning, followed by a family games night or just sit back and relax on the loungers and star gaze when the night draws in, keeping toasty in front of the chiminea……Total Bliss!!
* BBQ’s & Chimineas are all prepared and ready for you just to light, extra charcoal, sticks, firelighters etc can be purchased if needed
Bringing the children? That’s no problem at all. We have a bouncy castle, inflatable slide, trampoline, and a rodeo bull, which can all be set up for your arrival for them to enjoy (at an extra cost).
Having a celebration? Bentley Lodge can be decorated for any occasion you are celebrating, be it a birthday, anniversary, or a romantic proposal. Once booked, just let us know your occasion, choose from one of our bespoke celebration packages tailored to your needs, and leave the rest to us. We can even have “Happy Birthday” playing as you open the door to your retreat on request.
