We offer a variety of pitches for tents and motorhomes, including a limited number of electric hook-up options. Whether you’re here for a weekend escape or an extended stay, we’ve got the perfect spot for you.
- Campsite zones, redesigned based on guest feedback:
- Family Zone – Includes inflatables, a hot tub, and a large event tent. Some road noise here, but ideal for families.
- Garden Grounds – Near the bar and country house, amongst the trees vibe for couples or families with older kids.
- Quiet Field – Stunning countryside views, perfect for couples wanting peace and tranquillity. We’re improving the access route and currently only have two electric hook ups in this area, so we thank you for your understanding and patience! Please let us know which zone you’d prefer on booking
Licensed Bar & Refreshments
Unwind at our on-site licensed bar, serving your favorite tipple, open every day. we will soon be opening the Folly CafeBar serving hot drinks and light snacks throughout the day on a weekend. There’s so much to do for kids and adults alike:
- Large garden with football & nets, trampoline, swing ball, and outdoor games
- The Folly Licensed Bar with darts, table football, and inside/outside chill-out spaces and Karaoke on an evening
- Bouncy castle & Inflatable slide £5 per child to play all day, £3.50 for campers booking direct. Have a ride on Betty the pony £5 a ride. The Rodeo Bull (can you stay on?)£3.50 ..Prebooking essential and payment on booking to avoid disappointed children.

Whether you’re here to explore or just relax, our campsite is packed with activities and comfort to make your stay unforgettable. We feel our prices reflect what we have to offer and we are constantly working to improve and better our facilities.
Breakfast: we serve breakfast baps ( bacon or bacon & egg) with a hot drink & fresh orange £10.99 please order on arrival for the next day or the night before if stopping for two or more days. On an evening we serve our In-house pizzas at £10

We hold events and entertainment at Burtree, with a full list available on our website. Evening music and karaoke can also be set up in the Folly bar for guests to enjoy upon request.
We are situated next to the White Horse of Kilburn and the Hambleton Hills. Nearby attractions include Monk Park Farm in the village of Bagby (4 miles away), Thirsk Market Town where you can visit The World of James Herriot, Thirsk Museum, Thirsk Racecourse, and the Ritz Cinema (5 miles away), Sutton Bank National Park Centre (8 miles away), and York Railway Station (18 miles away), where you can visit York Minster, the National Railway Museum, City Walls, and all the delights this lovely market town has to offer. Other nearby attractions include Ripon Racecourse (15 miles away), Lightwater Valley Theme Park (19 miles away), and Ripley Castle (23 miles away).
